Personal Testimony of how she came to Christ

“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony {Revelation 12:11}

For I am not ashamed of my past because Christ has set me free. I am no longer a slave to the opinions of man. I believe that when people hear my testimony, they will know that Christ can set them from anything! Ok here is my testimony, where do I start. Ok I literally was born in the church. Got christening as a baby and all of that. Since I was young I always had a love for Jesus. As I read my diary as a little girl I always talked about Jesus and asked Him to forgive me of my sins. Growing up, I had a great childhood. Of course some bad things happened, but for the most part I had loving parents who spoiled me rotten!

Middle school and high school years were great. I was a cheerleader, popular, had lots of friends, always was having fun. It was a lot of drama throughout the years but of course nothing that major. Of course I had lil boyfriends, thought I was in love a few times, but for the most part it was nothing that was too serious. I remained a virgin throughout high school and I always went to church, and read my bible.

College Years

“That man don’t love you like he need to if he ain’t following Christ, he can’t lead you.”

Ok this is when stuff really starts to shift. I went to Albany State University and everyone knows that’s like the biggest party school ever (well it was back then). Literally we partied Monday-Saturday. As a freshman, God still was drawing me but I still ignored Him for the most part.I still went to bible study on campus but I lived like God didn’t exist. I partied, got drunk, had sex and did all the very things that God detests….
