When God?

But God! I know what you said but I don’t see it – I don’t hear it…

Have you ever been in a situation where things have been prophesied in your life; a situation where God has been using people to reveal just a glimpse of his plans for you; and where you keep hearing it over and over again confirming what he’s already revealed to you in the spirit … and now you’re in waiting mode? Maybe you’re waiting for your spouse, help mate, a particular business or ministry or maybe a house or that job that you know is yours. You are waiting on something that he promised to you but you just don’t see it yet. You can’t possibly believe that it’s ever going to come to pass. Too much time has passed. Too many ill words have been said. Nobody’s even talking about it anymore and in the physical realm it’s pretty much well D.E.A.D. You’re on the verge of giving up hope and doing things your way because everything that you’re experiencing in the natural realm seems to be the total opposite of what God’s promised to you. It’s probably been weeks, months and now years and you still haven’t seen it. You want to believe but now instead of waiting with expectation you’re waiting in doubt. You’re waiting and praying but there are times when all your waiting, praying and bible reading is making things worse and instead of all of your efforts bringing you hope, your faith is constantly being shattered by what you see with your natural eye.

So, you wallow in frustration and self-pity and anxiety but you hear him saying to have faith and believe. However, after a few months or years, you cry out – But God! I know you’re what you’re telling me but I don’t see it! I don’t hear it! And then God tells you … that’s right! You’re not supposed to see it or hear it because…

1 Corinthians 2:9-10 King James Version (KJV)

⁹But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

¹⁰But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

… NOBODY knows the plans I have for you but me. Nobody knows the good things I have in store for you but me. I may have given you a little taste but NOBODY knows but me. All I need for you to do is to trust and obey me because I know what’s best for you and I know when to fully release your heart’s desire to you!

Do you not know that God is not a man that he can lie? Do you not know that he says that eyes have not seen nor ears have heard for a reason? NOBODY and I mean NOBODY has seen nor ears have heard the GOOD things that God has in store for you. And listen, God designed it that way so that when HE says it and it comes to pass you will give HIM and only HIM the glory. ONLY God knows it because he planned it in his good and perfect will for your life. ONLY God sees it because he knows that it is already done and predestined in the spiritual realm! ONLY God hears it because he spoke it to manifest in your life in the right season.

So wait patiently my son, wait patiently my daughter because I am preparing you for the very thing that you so want. It is my very desire, my will that I put in your spirit so that it can be fulfilled by me through you and the Holy Spirit. That very thing (all that waiting, praying, fasting and reading my word) was critical so that out of the testing and trials I will get the glory in the end. It is I – I’m testing your faith; I’m stretching you so that I can be fully pleased with you. And when I fully release it to you, you will know how to best take care of it because of everything that I’ve taught you!

I know the very hour, minute and down to the very second when I should give it to you and you WILL get it but I need you to trust me first. I need you to build up your faith in me and endure this test so that when you do get it I can get the full glory and praise out of it! So don’t give up hope dear one. I need you to stay strong, to keep the faith and be of good courage. Be excited knowing that you’ve already won, you already have the victory and what I have for you, regardless of what you see or don’t see in this season, will be fully manifested in due season. Wait and faint not … for it WILL come to pass. #Selah
