Got Me Going In Circles

So, to AVOID paying tolls (as I do every morning), I tried a different route to work. Amazingly, it took me an hour longer after going in almost a complete circle and back in rush-hour traffic! It took me two hours to get to work and guess what? I did not ask the Holy Spirit to help me once.

Moral of the story – perhaps that’s why we keep going around in the same circles of life – with the same type of people – in the same situations … (smh) Have you been there or could it be that you’re there right now? Hmmmm – perhaps I’ve got you thinking about the commonality with all your “ex’s” or perhaps the people in your “circle of friends.”

Nonetheless, it’s time. Time for what? It’s time to allow the Holy Spirit to end your CRAZY circles, deliver you from the “No Goods” and take you into a New Place. For me, this morning’s trip was a lesson learned.

Here’s a lesson learned from a facebook friend:

“So true! I Didn’t listen to the Holy Spirit and now have been in a cycle for two years but received my blessing from my Ishmael situation. God will always turn it around – but why unnecessarily make it harder for yourself than you have to … and start at the bottom wasting time. Thank God for grace.”

So – there ya have it. The Holy Spirit is in our lives to lead and guide us to all truth. And just in case you’re wondering, that includes exposing the wrong and the wrongs ones too.

“But when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come.” John 16:13
