In Christ

Today I’d like to share with you a number of tips on your true identify. In the hustle and bustle of life when you don’t know who you really are, it’s easy to adapt to the world’s way of seeing things. However, today I want you to change your lenses and see yourself through the eyes of God. Let’s see who you really are “in Christ” and how you should be seeing yourself.

# 1 – You are an Overcomer. (1 John 5:4)
In Christ, there’s no obstacle, no barrier, no problem, no difficulty, no pain, no heartache or disappointment that’s insurmountable! Whatever you’re going through today that the enemy or your enemies have convince you that you can’t win – it’s time to kick that lie to the CURB! Through Christ’s strength, you can do all things! Holdfast to your faith because you’re an Overcomer!

# 2 – You are a joint heir with His Son, Lord Jesus. You get the wonderful opportunity to share in His inheritance. (Romans 8:17)
Forget trying to fit in with the Jones’. Who cares about the “Who’s Who List” on earth when you’re on “His Roll” in Heaven? You’re not simply a co-heir; you’re a joint-heir. My friend, that means that everything that belongs to Him now belongs to you! By the way, He’s not lacking anything. You have access to a marvelous inheritance.

# 3 – You are accepted of Him. (Ephesians 1:6)
I don’t care how many people rejected you in the past, how many jobs you’ve been turned down for, or how many of your parents were not there for you – In Christ, God has accepted you and that’s all that truly matters! You are His beloved and He is yours.

# 4 – You are the temple of God. His Spirit lives in you. (1 Corinthians 6:19)
You are a precious vessel. In fact, you’re a royal vessel. As I stated on yesterday, God doesn’t make junk and neither does He make mistakes. You have been designated as the temple/home/dwelling place of the Holy Spirit. Make sure you keep your house clean.

# 5 – You are a new creation in Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:17)
Whatever people may be saying about your past, kindly remind them that’s exactly what it is – your past! I guess they haven’t gotten the news that you’re a brand-new person. Old things are passed away and all things are becoming new. God has given you a new start. The old you is buried and dead. You are a new creature created in Christ Jesus unto good works. Now, live like it!

# 6 – You are complete in Jesus Christ. (Colossians 2:10)
People will compliment you and complement you. You and your spouse will even become one. However, please make no mistake about it that no one can ever complete you like Christ. The sum of who you are is not in your accolades, your money or your sphere of influence – it’s in Him.

Here are a few more for you to feast on the remainder of the day. Seems to me there’s no better place to be than In Christ.” 🙂

* You are the elect of God. (Colossians 3:12)
* You are established and anointed by God. (2 Corinthians 1:21)
* You are seated in heavenly places with Christ. (Ephesians 2:6)
* You have direct access to God. (Ephesians 2:18; Hebrews 4:16)

Now, do enjoy the rest of your life and eternity – in and with Christ.
